Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Who we are

Prismio ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Laure Misuriello, an independent developer based in Germany. These Terms of Service govern your use of all Prismio products, including the Prismio Paths Chrome extension, the Prismio Paths Miro extension, and the website prismio.tools.

By installing or using any Prismio product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our products.

For any questions, contact us at: hello@prismio.tools

2. Description of the service

Prismio Paths consists of two browser extensions designed to help product teams capture and visualize user paths:

  • The Chrome extension records user interactions (clicks, navigation, key presses) and screenshots as you navigate a website, then exports everything as a ZIP file to your device.
  • The Miro extension imports that ZIP file and creates a visual representation of the path on a Miro board.

Both extensions are currently provided free of charge. Prismio reserves the right to introduce optional paid features or premium plans in the future. Any such changes will be communicated clearly before taking effect, and free core functionality will not be removed without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Prismio. By using our products, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are using Prismio on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Prismio only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these terms. In particular, you must not use Prismio to:

  • Record or capture content on websites or applications you do not have authorization to access or test.
  • Capture personal data of third parties (including end users of your product) without their knowledge and consent, in violation of applicable privacy laws including GDPR.
  • Conduct unauthorized surveillance or monitoring of individuals.
  • Capture confidential or proprietary information belonging to others without authorization.
  • Engage in any activity that is illegal under applicable law.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of Prismio.
  • Distribute, sell, or sublicense the extensions without our written permission.

Prismio is intended as a professional tool for product teams to capture their own product experiences for internal analysis and collaboration. Any other use is at your own risk and responsibility.

5. Your content and data

All screenshots and path data captured by the Chrome extension are stored locally on your device and never transmitted to Prismio. You retain full ownership of and responsibility for all content you capture using Prismio.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you capture and share (including via Miro boards) complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of third parties.

Content you create on Miro boards using the Miro extension is governed by Miro's Terms of Service.

6. Intellectual property

All rights in the Prismio brand, logo, website, and extension code are owned by Laure Misuriello. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Prismio extensions for their intended purpose, subject to these terms.

7. Optional payments and contributions

Prismio may offer optional ways to support the project financially, such as voluntary contributions ("buy me a coffee") or future premium features. Any such payments are voluntary and do not create an ongoing contractual obligation on Prismio's part beyond what is explicitly stated at the time of payment.

If paid features are introduced, their specific terms will be provided at the point of purchase and will supplement these general terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Prismio products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The extensions will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times.
  • The extensions will be compatible with all websites, browsers, or Miro configurations.
  • The extensions will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
  • Any bugs or errors will be corrected within a specific timeframe.

You use Prismio at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Prismio and Laure Misuriello shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Prismio, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or content
  • Loss of business or profits
  • Damage to your device or systems
  • Any issues arising from third-party services (Miro, Chrome, Cloudflare)

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

10. Service availability and termination

Prismio is provided on a best-effort basis. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
  • Remove the extensions from the Chrome Web Store or Miro Marketplace.
  • Introduce, modify, or remove features over time.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes or discontinuation of the service through the extension interface or the website.

Note: because Prismio does not currently collect user identities or accounts, it is not possible to suspend individual users' access. Should user accounts be introduced in the future, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Third-party services

Prismio integrates with third-party platforms including Miro and Google Chrome. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. Prismio is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of these third-party services.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide notice through the extension interface or the website.

Continued use of Prismio after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with updated terms, you should stop using Prismio.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Prismio shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.

If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence.
